There is no replacement for the type of learning that comes from actually working with animals during your training. The Vet Tech Institute at Fox College offers a hands-on experience as part of your education.
Our facilities include:
On-site kennels, housing a variety of animals that probably includes dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and rabbits.The occasional lizard may even come to visit.
On-site surgical suite facilities.
Industry standard medical equipment found in animal clinics (x-ray machines, radiographs, and more).
Classrooms equipped for hands-on learning.
Access to a large animal farm: Students work with large animals, including horses, goats, and pics!
Large Animal Training
Each student spends time off-site to learn routine health care, general farm practices and restraint as part of their large animal training.
